What Makes Zerosquared Different?

INTEGRATED MODULARITY

"sURE, WE COULD HAVE BEEN YET ANOTHER CONTRACTING COMPANY TO BUY A TRAILER, BUILD A STRUCTURE ON IT, FORCE YOU TO CLIMB A LADDER INTO A LOFT AT NIGHT AND CALL OURSELVES A TINY HOME COMPANY...BUT WE DIDN'T

This is where we started:

3. We took what is GREAT about the recreational vehicle industry;

  • an expanded main floor living area in a road legal towing width,

  • MAIN floor bedrooms!

1. We took what is GREAT about modular housing;

  • quality control,

  • efficient resource usage,

  • construction time,

2. We then removed what ISN'T GREAT about modular housing;

  • shipping multiple modules,

  • expensive set up on site,

4. We then removed what ISN'T GREAT about the recreational vehicle industry;

  • leaks,

  • not built for full time living,

  • feels manufactured!

The Result? Our Aurora Tiny home. The first and only tiny home to feature two integrated opposing production slide out modules that add 120 sqft to a traditional tiny home main floor plan in a road legal towing platform

Integrated ModularityOur governing design principle:

1. Integrated slide out modules

2. Elevator Loft

OUR DESIGN INNOVATIONS:

1. INTEGRATED SLIDE OUT MODULES

Q: SO YOU PUT SLIDES IN A
TINY HOUSE?

A: Short answer is no. The principles behind the moving of space at site is derived from the benefits of an RV slide out system, however we have engineered the moving of space into a residential solution.

Our space is moved via 12V electric motors + simple robust rack and pinion gearing.

A control system manages the movement of the space to ensure it stops where it needs to, to guarantee a perfect seal each and every time.

Q: But don't slides leak?

A: They can, but not ours.

The gap between our moving space and the main body of the house is triple sealed to repel water, air, debris and pests, and has a built-in drainage plane to move the water to the outside of the house (think roof downspout)

If you aren’t moving the home regularly the exterior can also be finished with a residential trim. This covers up the exterior sealing system and provides an aesthetic completion of the exterior

Still concerned? We offer up to a 5yr warranty on the building envelope against leaks.

Q: ok, but what about wear, tear & cost of repair?

A: Our slide system is engineered for repeated use and minimal upkeep.

The slide mechanism is dry running = no lubrication needed with zero maintenance required

Should the slide ever become damaged due to an event beyond normal use, the repairs are in the 100's of dollars not 1000's of dollars

Q: Do you need our fancy automated slide system for a one time set up?

A: No, you don't. We have an optional onsite residential setup that will take more time than our 90 second automated system, but will still have you in the home same day.
